Italian Sportswear Brand Chervò Celebrates 40 Years of Luxurious Sportswear
Looks ahead to another 40 years as it continues to grow and seek out new challenges in design and fabric technology for a growing international customer base
North Palm Beach, FL – Italian-based sportswear brand Chervò is proud to announce that they are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. Founded by brothers Manfred and Peter Erlacher, Chervò’s reputation is built on custom print and fabric technologies that are stylish, thin, lightweight and designed for comfort on and off the golf course.
The brand’s roots originate in the ski wear category, with its reliance on cutting-edge fabric technologies in women’s and men's sportswear. For example, Chervò’s Nitro, one of its more popular fabrics, is so lightweight it almost wears and feels like a second skin while providing sunscreen and moisture-wicking advantages. Designer Peter Erhlacher says, “Today, like 40 years ago, with each garment we produce we strive to create something that is not only comfortable but exciting to wear. By giving them a garment to remember, on the golf course and in everyday life, the brand continues to grow and become the pre-eminent luxury sportswear brand in the category”
To mark Chervò's 40th birthday, the new collections are brimming with colors inspired by the textures, and motifs that evoke the Italian roots of their designs. For the golf course, they have combined fine craftsmanship, and glamorous design, bringing the highest level of Italian style to their retail stores worldwide and their valued tour ambassadors; Kurt Kitayama (PGA), Jenny Shin (LPGA), Giulia Molinaro (LPGA), and Johannes Veerman (DP World Tour).
